How do I know content is genuine and that I really own what I buy?

Every upload is checked by our proprietary verification technology (patents pending) before it reaches the marketplace, and every purchase legally transfers copyright to you through a digitally signed agreement, recorded permanently where we ship you a physical certificate of authenticity. Mimo is free to download and free to browse. Sellers and buyers pay a commission on completed sales, and high-volume sellers can choose an optional monthly plan to upload more. Current rates and plans are always shown in the app before you commit to anything - no surprises.

Is this legal?

Yes. When you take an original photo or video, you automatically own its copyright: makes that ownership provable, tradeable and enforceable. Our legal architecture covering data protection, copyright and AI licensing has been developed with counsel, and registered partners can request our documentation.

What about photos and videos I take at a match or concert?

You own the copyright in what you capture. Some venues and events restrict commercial use of content taken there, so check your ticket terms and know that content from Mimo's partner clubs and events is fully authorised, which is why we're building those partnerships. If a rights-holder raises a concern about an item, we review it quickly and remove it where appropriate, and buyer protection applies.

What if I see a copy, or someone misbehaves?

Report it in the app - anonymously if you prefer. We remove content that fails our standards, protect affected buyers, and suspend repeat offenders. A marketplace only works if everyone can trust what they see, so we take this seriously.
